Ylang-Ylang Extra supérieur BIO is a 100 % pure and natural essential oil from the flowers of Cananga odorata grown under controlled organic cultivation. This oil from Madagascar has a sweet, floral and exotic scent. Damascena bottles it by hand in Switzerland.

Flower oil in the Extra supérieur grade

The oil is extracted by steam distillation of the flowers. For this product, the designation “Extra supérieur” refers to the grade obtained at the beginning of distillation.

A sweet, floral and exotic scent

Ylang-ylang has a distinctly floral scent with sweet, exotic facets. In fragrance compositions, the oil is classified as a heart note.

Scent combinations

Bergamot, red mandarin and blood orange complement the floral scent with citrus notes. Neroli, lavender, rose and rose attar are suitable partners for floral compositions. Other scent partners include vanilla, tonka, sandalwood, cedar, cypress and coriander.
