This traditional incense is produced on Mount Athos in Greece and is based on high-quality frankincense resin from Boswellia papyrifera sourced from Ethiopia. Refined with a delicate Cypress fragrance, it creates a harmonious composition that combines the balsamic notes of frankincense with the fresh character of Cypress.

Mount Athos is an autonomous monastic republic in northern Greece and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. The peninsula is home to around twenty Orthodox monasteries belonging to Greek, Serbian, Bulgarian and Russian traditions. Only a few of them continue to produce incense today according to traditional monastic recipes.
