This traditional incense is produced on Mount Athos in Greece. It is made from high-quality frankincense resin from Boswellia papyrifera from Ethiopia, refined with the delicate fragrance of Lemon Blossom. Mount Athos is an autonomous monastic republic in northern Greece and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. Around twenty Orthodox monasteries shape the spiritual life of the peninsula.
